This is where I hope to share information about the 4A084 Military Standard Engine conversions.

4A084 Engine

The engine arrived today!!! (21 Aug) Not having a fork-truck, I unloaded it from the semi to my trailer....

Safely stored on the back porch for now, Lots of stuff removed already!

3SEP01 Got the 4A084 engine up on the mount today and have a few pics.

This is the engine on the mount. The flywheel has been cut down for a prop hub like on the little engine. Looking into a real hub for it.

Here are both engines on the stand. Aren't they cute?

Close up of engine mount and hub.
A picture just before starting the motor for the first time.

Updates:
Prop has been modified untill engine turns up to RPM. Initially the prop was too large and loaded down the engine to where the carb would not run right.

It is possible to machine down the stock hub and drill it for the Rotax 75mm pattern. I have done so, but also ordered a hub from eBay that is machined from 4340 steel.
