This civilian aircraft with a V tail made an excellent showing. With the landing gear retracted, the aircraft cleaned up and performed very well... Can you name it?

This Gee Bee Racer comes in for a smooth landing. This aircraft was called the flying bomb due to the shape of the fuselage. This was one of the top racers in its day.

Even cockpit detail is impressive. The pilot of this Sopwith Triplane by Bud Roane looks ready for an early morning flight. With open cockpit, spinning engine, and with oil flying everywhere; it must have been a handfull.

This German Stuka waits for take off orders. The rear gunner was kept very busy by enemy aircraft trying to shoot down the Stukas.

Who says you can't have fun and compete at the same time. There is a catagory called fun scale where the biginner can enter his or her aircraft for competition and have fun too.
