Everything RC Cars - So maybe aircraft are too complicated and R/C cars have captured your interest. This site caters to helping newcomers understand the world of RC cars and trucks! This part of the R/C hobby is gaining more interest lately and a visit can answer your questions.
Red Rocket Hobby Shop - I'm always looking for new locations to supply my hobby interests. This site has a cross section of many products with electric items too.
Model Aces - For those of you interested in highly detailed plastic kits of war bird aircraft, check out this site. They may have that hard to find kit you have been searching for. Their intro may take some time to load but it is worth the wait. Enjoy.
Spring Air Retracts - Many modelers like to add the realism of retractable landing gear. Spring Air Retracts provides gear with a built in fail safe. These compressed air retracts will extend down if air pressure is lost or used up. This eliminates those unsightly belly landings.
Indian River Kontrol Society - This is the local club that I fly with. IRKS is a gold leader club with the AMA and currently has 2 flying sites. Located in central east coast Florida, flying is a year round operation. The summers are very hot and humid, but the winters are wonderful. Academy of Model Aeronautics - This is the benchmark organization in the United States for all aspects of Model Aviation. All forms of modeling can be found at this web site. This is a great site for anyone interested in modeling, from beginners to seasoned citizens.
North Dalas Radio Control Club - Here is a club that participates in many remote control activities. From Scale to Pylon Racing, to Helicopters, to float flys and lots in between. Lots of pics and some videos. There are many helpful hints too. Plan to visit for a while.
Permagrit - For those of you that encounter unusual needs in the sanding, cutting, shaping of your projects, this website has pictures of all products and secure on-line ordering. Postage rates are automatically calculated to anywhere in the world. All goods are despatched sameday. Who knows, Permagrit may have exactly what you are looking for.
Small Gas Turbines - Here is some insight as to how gas turbines operate. Pulse Jets too. Interesting photo documentary. Worth the visit.
Scale Aero Magazine - For those interested in scale aircraft, here is a good place to visit.
