The 2000 US ScaleMasters event was hosted at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio. This Beechcraft taxis out for it's first take off.

Wright Patterson Air Force Museum is also located on this base with free admission. The tail wheel is up and this Hawker is about to lift off.

The museum has full scale aircraft from pre WW1 through Desert Storm. This F86 looks like it just rolled out of the hanger and is ready for a test hop.

All the images on this site are scale models, but they look like the real thing thanks to the builders. This Mig 15 is on final and ready for touch down.

This contest was held in October of 2000. The weather was cool and the leaves were turning. This B29 model sports the Russian red star.

There were many contestants from all over the United States and many other countries. This T34 Mentor settles in for a smooth landing.
