We are a retired couple living in Orlando, Florida. We have lots of
interests and hope to share them with other Internet folks. For Glenn,
it's barbershop
quartet singing, Orlando
Magic basketball, golf
and
other sports. His quartet is called Sunshine
Boys, and they are available for engagements in the Central Florida
area. He is also involved with grandson David's travel hockey
team, the Orlando Stars.
Betty Jo is involved in genealogy,
Central Florida historical
records and wildlife photography. Her volunteer activities
include
teaching genealogy classes at the Orlando
Senior Net and the Par Avenue Family History Center. She is
also active in the Central Florida
Genealogy Society, edits their two newsletters and is conpiling
books on early Orange County, Florida. Feel free to ask her about
your Orange County ancestors.
Betty Jo's current project is compiling a book on the HICKS family
of Clermont County, Ohio. The data base can be found here.

Blossom Chorus on Tuesday nights at 7:30. They meet at 813 Montana
St. Call Glenn at (407)876-1688 for directions. If you're
interested in family history, join the Genealogy Society at 7:30 on the
2nd Thursday evening of each month (September through May) at the Marks
Street Senior Center. There is also a Daytime Group that meets on
the 4th Thursday of odd numbered months at 1:30 at the Orlando Public
Library.
