What is CFAEP
The Central Florida Association of Environmental
Professionals (CFAEP) is a local Chapter of the Florida Association
of Environmental Professionals (FAEP) that is affiliated with the
National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP).
The Chapter’s boundaries encompass the counties of Lake, Orange, Osceola
and Seminole. The Chapter has been formed as a focal point for
objectivity, ethical standards, and technical excellence in the environmental
professions with the goals of protecting, enhancing and maintaining
the quality of the natural and human environment in Central Florida
through cooperation with the FAEP and NAEP. Specific
Purposes CFAEP
The Chapter received formal approval from
the FAEP Board, adopted by-laws, elected officers, organized several
committees, holds regular meetings and periodic seminars/workshops. The
CFAEP has members of different professions including biologists, planners,
hydrologists, air quality specialists, engineers, attorneys, lab technicians,
geologists, soils scientists, hazardous material scientists, from both the
