You will need: - a three-ring binder with pockets filled with 81/2-by-11-inch paper - hole puncher - highlighters (of different colors) - pencil w/ eraser - pen (black or blue ink) - felt-tip pens of different colors or colored pencilsYour notebooks will be interactive. This means not only will you be inputting
information into them, but also you will be taking that information, processing it, and then actively
doing something with it. Your notebooks will contain "input" (teacher notes, reading notes, video notes, worksheets) and "output" (your illustrations, poetry, cartoons, opinions, diagrams, etc.). Regular notebook checks will be made and will be part of your grade (10%).
Your notebook is to be used for world history only. Organization/Requirements: 1. Cover
– Create a colorful & fun cover that reflects the content of world history. (Make sure your cover also includes your name!) 2. Table of Contents
– Create a list of completed assignments and page numbers. 3. Classroom/Course Expectations 4. Notebook Requirements 5. Unit Title Pages
– For each new unit we cover, create a title page. Find a picture or draw an illustration that represents a theme of the unit. 6. Notes/Assignments Evaluation Criteria - Timeliness (notebook & assignments are completed & submitted on time) - Quality & Completeness
(all class notes & assignments are completed and are of high quality, even for days when you are absent) - Visual appearance & Organization
(work is organized & neat; effective highlighting and use of color)
