Our Manifesto

Benito Mussolini, the Fascist Dictator of Italy before and during WWII, who should know, said "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism, since it is the merger of state and corporate power."

We, the Rogue Bag of Pretzels, are a national political organization, dedicated to the proposition that the United States is not a fascist nation, in the sense of Mussolini's definition - it is not of, by, and for corporations and the people who own and run them, but of the people, by the people, and for the people.

We consider the overwhelming majority of Democratic public figures to be wusses, or perhaps George Bush I, former head of the CIA, has and uses files on them similar to the ones that J. Edgar Hoover did, cowing them into submission.

We have always seen the Democrats as our fair-weather friends; that is, if it's not too much trouble, if it doesn't take them out of their way...they sometimes do things we like. However, the Democrats, as they are constituted now, at the beginning of the twenty-first century, seem to be following the large unions, down the garden path of "co-managerialship".

We consider the Republicans to be our enemies; that is, it is nevertoo much trouble to go out of their way to hurt us, the general public. In fact, over the last 34 years, the Republicans have shown themselves to be actively against democracy and the public good (see "An Indictment..." )

Our Mission

We will do our best to drag the political discussion in this country back to reality, from the never-never-land (or is that cloud cookoo-land?) of the self-proclaimed "neocons". We will, like the boy in the old story of The Emperor's New Clothes, call a spade a spade...and reveal the neocons as the neofascists they are.

How you can help

We can always use money, to pay for the Web site. We can always use volunteers, to write, to post, to email, and to talk to their friends, neighbors, and co-workers, and make them aware of what where their "enlightened self-interest" really lies. Get involved! Politics means you, and what gets done to you. Take it back from the Really Wrong Right-Wing Rich!
