Input

The Input Window is used to enter Greyhound race information. If you selected Automated Input, the system will type the information in for you and page to the next Greyhound.

Greyhounds

Based on the number of Greyhounds selected in DogOne Analysis a picture box is added representing that postposition. You may click on any picture box to expose the data contained for that post position (I.e. to return to a prior entry for correction or validation).

Race Input

This Window contains only the data fields required based on the Handicapping items selected in the DogOne Handicapping defaults. Editing of fields is by integer values, no decimal point required. Each field correctly entered will advance to the next field, no Enter keys required. If the last field for the post position is entered then the next post position will appear.

Field Definitions

Race Starts - Number of Races the Greyhound has competed in.

Race Wins - Number of Races the Greyhound has won.

Race Places - Number of Races the Greyhound has Placed.

Race Shows - Number of Races the Greyhound has Showed.

Course Distance  - The race course distance in feet

Time of Race by Winner - The winning time of the race. Note: DogOne automatically converts time to distance for you.

Post Position - Post position greyhound started from.

Order in which greyhound left box - The position the greyhound left the post position in reference to the other greyhounds in the race.

Position at the 1/8th - Position greyhound was at 1/8 call in reference to the other greyhounds in the race.

Position entering stretch - Position of greyhound at stretch call in reference to the other greyhounds in the race.

Order of Finish - Position greyhound finished the race.

Actual Running Time - The actual time the greyhound completed the race. Note: DogOne automatically converts time to distance for you.

Grade of Race - The Grade of race the greyhound competed in. Note: DogOne uses only the Florida track Grades A, B, C, D, E, and M. Adjustments are made for Gulf, Mile High, and Wonderland
