Bro. J. Pitts reported that it was reported that Bro. N. McCoy had been intoxicated and using profane language.

October 1857

Bro. Allen reported that Bro. McCoy acknowledged that the report of his intoxication was true but denied he had used profane language. On motion he was excluded having failed to meet and give church satisfaction.

November 1865

March 1870

Bro. E(lijah?) Smith reported Simeon McCoy for dancing.

April 1870

Bro. E(lijah?) Smith reported that he and Bro. J(ehu?) W. Pitts had not been able to see Bro. S. McCoy and committee was requested to see Bro. Geo. McCoy also as there is a similar report in circulation in regard to him

May 1870

Bro. E(lijah?). Smith reported that the committee had seen Bro. S.S. & George McCoy and they had made no concession, but justified their course therefore a motion to withdraw fellowship of the church for the sin of dancing from the young brethren was sustained.
