If
you have questions that do not pertain to purchasing an item, the following paragraphs may
provide the answer:
Want to
know how much your machine or table or cabinet or machine accessory or anything related to
sewing machines is worth?
I can not determine the current value of your machine or any other item you may
havethere are too many variables: where it's sold, what venue, condition of the
item, etc. Placing an accurate value on a machine requires a great deal of research and
being able to look at the actual machine; anyone who indicates differently is not being
honest with you. I suggest you research previous sales in your geographical area and
intended venue.
Don't
know what model Singer you have?
If you are looking for information to determine what model your machine is there are
numerous websites that provide images and data that will help; ISMACS, Discount Sewing Machines,
the MaRS
Collection of Sewing Machines are just a few.
Want to
know the 'manufacture date' of your machine?
This site contains extensive tables to date AF and AG
serial-numbered machines. Singer's
website has Adobe Acrobat files containing all Singer serial number series.
Need a
manual for a 221 or 222?
Graham Forsdyke's Sew-Sales site
contains free on-line manuals for the Singer Featherweight 221 and 222 as well as the

Want to
purchase a copy of a vintage machine manual?

are two sites that sell manuals.
