GPS Coordinates

This chart shows Global Postioning System (GPS) coordinates out of Port Canaveral, Sebastian, and Fort Pierce inlets.  I have these listed according to the nearest port or inlet.  If you would like to share some of yours, please send them to GPS numbers and I will post them. If you have Loran C POSAID2 is a DOS program for converting Loran-C Time Difference measurements to Latitude and Longitude.

I receive many request through this site for GPS numbers. I recently had a program shown to me called FishMapper. Coastal Software recently released East Florida Coast region (Region 05) which covers the Atlantic coast of the Florida peninsula from Hollywood, FL north to Cumberland Island, GA. The exact boundaries are 26 to 31 degrees north latitude, and 78 to 82 degrees west longitude. Included in this region are: GPS coordinates for 617 natural and artificial reefs, wrecks, and other fishing spots; 288,000 depth soundings; and highly detailed locations of the 20-, 100-, and 300-fathom lines using the latest NOAA/NGDC bathymetric data. If you are interested check out the Coastal Software site at http://www.coastalsoftwarecorp.com/index.html for more information on this program.

Offshore Artificial Reefs by County

DISCLAIMER: The GPS(Global Positioning System), DGPS(Differential GPS), LOR(Loran C) or UK(unknown) entries in the GPS field indicates which format the original coordinates were obtained (if known). The other set of coordinates was mathematically calculated and is probably not as accurate as the original set. If UNKNOWN (UK) is listed then the LORAN is probably the more accurate set of coordinates.
