Song Title Composer Comments
SpaceFox Bright SoftwareThe entire soundtrack (578k zipped!) from Bright Software's amazing game SpaceFox. These sound absolutely brilliant in MTPlug 1.0 and later, so use it rather than earlier versions of the player. If you never had a IIgs and want to hear how good it could get, look no further.
Dragonsfunk (Delta version) Moby, remix by FTABased on MOD.dragonsfunk by Moby, this is the FTA Noisetracker GS remix from the title screen of the Delta Demo. I prefer the original, but your mileage may vary.
Esa Rap Ian Schmidt and James BrookesA bizzare internet collaboration song, based around a silly voice sample of one of my friends from high school.
Unbelievable Ian SchmidtEMF's "Unbelievable", from the first GS<>IRC Jukebox disk.
Get The Balance Right James BrookesDepeche Mode's "Get the Balance Right", from the first GS<>IRC Jukebox disk.
Pressure Jim MaricondoBilly Joel's "Pressure", from the first GS<>IRC Jukebox disk.
IRCXmas James BrookesTwo songs here, the Depeche Mode Megamix (including over 10 minutes of classic Depeche Mode songs) which was the music during the main menu for the GS<>IRC "Le Demo IIgs Cliche." Also includes Seq03 from the same demodisk, which is the music during the Space Harrier-looking landscape part.
Space Cluster The F.U.C.K.The intro and in-game songs from the French United Crackers Klan's "Space Cluster" Galaga-clone game. Savvy GS users will recognize the intro music as a slight remix of the intro music from Robin Kar and Matt Crysdale's groundbreaking Alien Mind game.
The Other Side Jim MuellerAerosmith's "The Other Side", from one of the DreamGrafix 3200-color preview demo disks.
FUN.MUSIC 1 and 2 FUNThe entire contents of FUN.MUSIC.1 and FUN.MUSIC.2, 2 of at least 5 song disks released by FUN (authors of SoundSmith). A majority of these songs are converted/remixed Amiga MODs (indeed, CAMBODIA was the song I originally used to reverse-engineer the MOD format, as I had both the 15-instrument MOD version and the SS version included here). Songs included are Amegas, Axel.F, Behind, Big.In.Japan, Blizzard, Cambodia, Dugger, End.Theme, File.23, File.35 (better known as the background music for FTA's POM's 46 magazine disk intro), File.42, Forever, Garcon, Jungle.2, and SLL4. You'll need MTPlug 0.9.5+ (see above) or any version of MTPng to play Jungle.2 and Dugger properly.
FTA.Song FTAMusic released by FTA that was never used in any of their productions. Also includes "Crystal Horizons", a remix of FTA.Song (much better stereo layout, esp. for headphones) by Jeremy "Y0shi" Chadwick.
Gifts FTAMusic from the XMas Gifts section of the infamous FTA Xmas Demo. Actually a remix of the popular JCD Megablaster.
Split Demo FTAMusic from the Split Demo section of the FTA Xmas Demo.
VIAD2 James BrookesLevel 1 music from Kenrick Mock's excellent shareware VIAD (Vocabulary In Any Direction) game.
VIAD3 James BrookesLevel 2 music from VIAD
VIAD4 James BrookesLevel 3 music from VIAD
VIAD5 James BrookesLevel 4 music from VIAD. One of my favorite SS/MT songs of all time.
MT IntroIan SchmidtIntro song for the MegaTracker composer program on the IIgs. Heavily remixed by me from one of the FUN.MUSIC demo songs.
LeCubeJames BrookesThe song you got when you disobeyed directions and just plain booted up Le Demo IIgs Cliche, the first and only demo by GS<>IRC, the world's only IRC-based IIgs demogroup. You must use the -o switch on MTP for this since it was written for the then-current MT 3.x engine, which had different pitchslide semantics.
