DELEGATION
The following is actually taken from a letter that my sister sent me. She works as an assistant to my father, who pastors a church in Gainesville. I found this letter so humorous I just had to include it. The dry sense of humor runs in our family, and starts with my dad. He may have gotten the biggest kick from this out of all of us. For those of you who either delegate or are delegated to, you should also be able to appreciate this:
Dearest Brother,
Dad thought that you might enjoy this magazine, so once again in his effort to be thoughtful, he effortlessly places this booklet about golf on top of the eighteen-inch stack of papers on my desk. I know how important this is to him, so I put aside the unimportant payroll, accounts payable and receivable, bulletin, insurance, correspondence to members and other non-essentials and immediately mailed this to you! I hope you have as much leisure time to read it as I did to send it!
Love,
Your Sister
