We have a new clothesline outside and I've enjoyed it so much. Clotheslines are forbidden in the neighborhood rules. It sounds like I'm such a rebel, but maybe they'd like to pay my $300 electric bill! Check out my NEW BLOGSITE in Journal, titled 'There's A Cricket In The Corner'.

Our son Robert was accepted into Barry University's Law School, right here in Orlando. He's smart and got a big scholarship. Robert will move home in the next few weeks and plans to live here for the next 3 years as he completes his law degree.

We tried out the darling miniature car by Mercedes, called the Smart Car ForTwo. I put $99 down on a red/black Cabriolet with convertible top. 6'6" Mark actually fits comfortably inside. It will take 12-18 months to receive my car. There will be a balance of about $16,000 to pay then.

I have a Yorkie. You can ask this smart little Yorkshire Terrier (she looks just like my dog) to do Dog Tricks. Try speak, sit, up, jump, beg, down, roll over, play dead, paw, lick, and my favorite, kiss.

A snake! There were actually two snakes swimming in our pool, April 2007. This happens pretty often.

An owl! We hit an owl in NC and it broke my car's grill.

A bear! David came face-to-face with a full-sized male Florida bear in October 2007, around 10PM. Bears continue to wander the neighborhood and live in the forest behind our house. Ocasionally they cover the "bear problem" in the TV news.

A deer! I was driving down the road near my neighborhood on a September afternoon and I was quick with my cell phone camera!

We have a second home in Beech Mountain, North Carolina.
