Popularly known as Card Trick, this pattern is from an Eleanor Burns' Quilt In A Day booklet,
Winning Hand.
I chose this for my mother because she likes to play bridge. I thought the cheerful colors and happy flowers would be something
she'd like as well.
This lap-sized quilt is made of twelve 12" blocks, the top measures 72" X 57" before quilting and binding with a complimentary
material of green with white polka dots.
The backing material is the same as the front's background fabric, white with tiny delicate white flowers.
After being professionally machine quilted by Dream Catchers
Quilting, I brought it to the mountains and hand sewed the binding on to the back.
Because it was made for somebody special, I put extra effort in being precise with my seams and matching points.
I think this is my most accurately sewn quilt I've ever attempted.
