CHRISTOPHER'S QUILT

The first child of niece Robin, my second great-nephew Christopher was born on February 24, 2004. I was
fortunate enough to meet Christopher on the day he was born! His new quilt is in the foreground of our picture.
I made this quilt in the Amish Jewel Box pattern, recommended to me as an easy block to make. Material was chosen that
I thought a little boy would like to look at...puppies, teddy bears, cars, and strong flowers for this busy scrappy quilt,
as well as some leftovers from his cousin Ben's quilt. Size 31"x42", and created on a 1951 Singer Featherweight named
Sweet Pea. All machine made and machine quilted "stitch in the ditch" style.
