BLACK HOLES IN THE UNIVERSE

A Christmas gift for 18-year old David, measuring at 90X100 inches, David's quilt top was finished and went to the quilt shop to be sandwiched, quilted and bound with complimentary black binding in plenty of time for Christmas. The back is solid unbleached muslin, which really looks nice with the variagated tan to brown thread used for qulting, professionally quilted in loops and squiggles. David chose this Stars & Four Patch Quilt in Eleanor Burns Still Stripping After 25 Years Quilt In A Day book, then put in material color requests. He was really thrilled to receive this Christmas gift.

Matching King-Sized Pillow Cases

February 2006



David asked for matching pillowcases. I used the fabric I had leftover and joined the pillowcase class at the quilt shop.
I still have a little more fabric and may make some throw pillows using star blocks and other complimentary designs.
