Kiwanis International chartered the Kiwanis Club of Melbourne
in 1924. Our goal is to work for a
better quality of life for our community, our state, our nation and our world.
Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization for people who want to get
personally involved in leadership and participate in the improvement of
their respective communities. Much
more can be accomplished through a group such as Kiwanis than by
individuals acting alone.
Our Motto is: Serving the Children
of the World
We believe that many benefits will accrue to new members individually
and to the community as a result of their participation in Club meetings,
projects, and other associated activities.
Each member must assume responsibilities so we may exercise our opportunity
for constructive community action.
