The Number 4 reprint is a very difficult stamp to find. The stamp looks like a forgery. Most people that don't know how to identify it, will classify it as a forgery. The most common reason is because it looks like the printing was executed poorly. The following will show how they look.
The shield at the upper right hand corner is open at bottom left. There is also a color less area in the condor's left wing near the shield. Tail of the "5" at the bottom right hand corner is curved up on the top, this one looks like it is flat, but the tail is very thin. |
