Case Mod Gallery

Welcome to the Case Mod Gallery.  Here you will find pics & info on the various case mods visitors to this site have submitted.  In an effort to save time, Overclock competition entries will also be listed in the Case Mod gallery (they will be noted as such).  If you've got a case mod that you'd like to submit for the overclocking, case modding world to see, send it in.

Yes, I know the gallery is a little sloppy.  I'll try to work on that this week sometime.

Case Mod 1

The first case mod submission also happens to be the first entry in the Overclock Competition.  566@850, nice color scheme, big ass blowholes (I know, ass and blowhole dont belong next to one another).  His case may be a better color, the cpu may run faster....but mine is cooler @ 70F (nanny nanny boo boo).

This is my own case which is currently not really that "modded".  I currently don't own a dremel or any major cutting power tools, so 99% of my case mods will be internal for the time being.  I rounded the cables (except the ATA/66....too chickenshit), added a few extra fans, and a 3 1/2 inch drive bay blower (under the floppy drive in the first pic) that I bought from 2CoolTek.  When used with my Alpha/Peltier combo (not pictured), the blower expels noticeably warm air, it's doing its job.  It's a pissy AMD K6-2 500@550.  So far the only entry in the AMD

This badboy is a P3 600E CuMine, overclocked 600@800 with a measely 1.75v core on a sloket rig.  Complete with Baybus and a large intake on the bottom.  If you're gonna overclock, get yourself an Alpha heatsink, and maybe a nice Peltier module

Case Mod 4

Here is our first P3 entry to pass 1Ghz.  This p3 700@1008 with 1.8v core voltage looks innocent on the outside, but a powerful beast lurks inside.  Hey Phatswalla, "rounding" your cables would allow for better airflow in your box (might reduce ambient temp).

Bitchin Temp monitor on the drive bay.  A most excellent liquid cooled rig.  It gave me an idea on where to mount the radiator/fan when I install my own liquid cooling setup.

Nice Baybus....  This is the guy that supplied the pics and info on the round ATA/66 cables.

Look at the top part of that case (on the right, that's just itching to house a radiator for a liquid cooling rig).  Killer paintjob!

Case Mod #9

    Submitted by:  Ryan Hunt
    E-Mail: motorman@sniperjoe.com

This rig sports dual 366a@572 2.3v cpu's with generic GlobalWin heatsinks.  No benchmarks screen caps available at this time.   Mr. Hunt is claiming a world record with 12 days uptime under Win2k.  Someone call Guiness :)

In the words of this overclocker "Another HardOcp'er trying to crash the party".  A very nice overclock with a P3 600e@875, 1.85v (275mhz Increase....whoa).  Duct tape works looks a little messy....but whatever it takes to stabilize the system right?  Like the ultra high tech air deflector
