Yoshimura Stage 1 camshafts allow improved midrange and top-end power over stock cams,

however with a small loss of torque at low rpms (at least in my case).

These cam-shafts come standard with adjustable sprockets, to fine tune the cam timing.

Since I was unaware the sprockets were slotted, I had them installed as set by Yoshimura,

resulting in a gain of only 5 rwhp, instead of the expected 10 rwhp,

bringing the RedBusa's rwhp from 165.3 to 170.4.

The plan is to have the Cams degreed properly to hopfully gain the extra 5 rwhp,

and reach my goal of 175 rwhp. Cost was $700.00 and about $300.00 for installation.
