Earl Gresh Marquetry, St. Petersburg, FL

Earl Gresh was known as an artist with wood. His most noteable accomplishment was the creation of the half-size marquetry murals depicting the life of Christ. 16 of these 4' x 8' murals can be seen today at Memorial Park at 54th Ave. North and 49th Street in St. Petersburg, FL. Gresh used woods from all over the world to achieve the colors he wanted in his inlaid pictures. The marquetry pictures below were made by Earl Gresh and signed on the back.
