MARTIN COUNTY 800 MHZ TRUNKED SYSTEM

SYSTEM INFORMATION
   - This is a Motorola Type II Digital Astro SmartZone System.
   - Transmitters towers are located in Indiantown, Stuart, Port Salerno and Hobe Sound. There are also seven
     satellite receivers located throughout the county.

SCANNER INFORMATION
   - You can monitor the digital talkgroups only with the following digital scanners:
     Uniden Bearcat BC250D and BC785D Digital Scanners with a BCi25D board installed
     Uniden Bearcat BC296D, BC796D, BCD396T and BCD996T Digital Scanners
     Radio Shack PRO-96 and PRO-2096 Digital Scanners
   - Only the repeater output frequencies are listed. The repeater input frequencies are 45.00 MHz lower.

MISC. INFORMATION
   - Martin County Sheriff's Office also dispatches Sewall's Point Police Dept.
   - MCSO and Sewall's Point Police Dept. dispatch their not in progress (non-emergency) calls via Mobile
     Data Terminals (MDT). By using an MDT system an officer can now bypass the dispatcher for information
     such as license, registration and warrant checks, report numbers etc.  
   - MCSO units also have the capability to communicate to the Jonathan Dickinson State Park Rangers on their 
     talkgroup (48016).
   - The Mutual Aid talkgroups are used for hurricanes, special events, air shows, etc.
   - Martin County Sheriff Cars now have GPS antennas in the middle of there trunk. (Larson GPSNMO antennas) 
   - Talkgroup 112 has been used mostly for Mutual Aid Fire to Palm Beach County
   - Most Martin County Sheriff Car to car and sensitive comms are done over NEXTEL.
   - Martin County Government also has a Nextel contract in which most Public Works use as there primary communications 
     M6 = Motorola Radio talkgroup ID (Motorola 6 digit hex)
     MH = Trunk Tracker program talkgroup ID (Motorola hex)
     Tkgrp = Uniden / Radio Shack scanner talkgroup ID (Decimal)
