Weavers of Orlando is an active organization which promotes and encourages
interest in the fiber arts. WEAVING,
SPINNING, BASKETRY, DYEING, FELTING, BEADING, And more…
Weavers of Orlando has been meeting regularly since 1942.
We meet once a month on a Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. We usually
meet at the Maitland Art Center CommunityRoom
(231 W. Packwood Ave., Maitland). See

If you are interested in obtaining more information, please print and
fill out our application and mail it to our membership chairperson. You
will receive a complimentary issue of our newsletter FIBERGRAMME
and you are invited to attend our next meeting.

known weavers and local experts provide in depth three day workshops
on new and/or old techniques.

Small Groups are formed for the ongoing study of specific techniques.

Demonstrations Hands-on events
featuring the art of weaving, spinning, basketry and beadwork.
Both children and adults are welcome

Several pieces of equipment are available for rent to our members.
